The core group is responsible for all aspects of running the CSA. For the past month, just a few people have been working to sign up enough new members to make this CSA viable, but now comes the real work of managing distributions, creating special events, and supporting the community. A larger core group is necessary to make this all happen.
Any member interested in participating in the LES CSA's inaugural season in a more constructive way should attend our first core group meeting on Monday, April 19, at 8pm. There are no specific requirements for being in the core group, just a willingness to take on or share certain tasks during the season like managing distribution, contributing to the CSA blog, coordinating recipe sharing, or arranging a trip to the farm.
